Delayed Education Scholarship for Women

Going back to school after you’ve raised a family, or restarting your education is a daunting task for a woman. Having kids and starting a career to support a family sometimes take priority in a woman’s life and her education is placed second. Additionally, the high cost of school can be a major deciding factor of furthering a woman’s education. 

Because Enholm Law wants to help these women advance in their career, the Phoenix divorce lawyers are offering a a $500 scholarship for women starting or returning to school after being in the workforce or raising a family.

This opportunity is meant for women who would like to embark on one of the following career paths:

  • Law
  • Medicine
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

To apply:

  • Write a 500+ word essay on why you want to go back to school
  • Discuss the goals you have as they relate to furthering your education, and your plan on to reach these goals
  • Discuss what you have learned from your family and work history
  • Deadline: September 1, 2016

Participants must:

  • Be a woman between the ages of 30-50
  • Be a US citizen or legal resident in the US
  • Have the intent on re-entering the workforce after education
  • Be enrolled at an accredited college or university in the US
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0
